Since launching in 2001, First Light Movies has formed a number of dynamic and mutually beneficial relationships. We have collaborated with various top companies within the commercial field and beyond working together to inspire and engage young filmmakers.

First Light Movies formed a financial relationship, through sponsorship, with the Wellcome Trust and NESTA (The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts) during our Big Screen Science project and worked closely with Barclays as part of our Film and Citizenship project.

However, not all partnerships are financially led. Film Street, First Light Movies new web resource designed to engage children with the joys of film, grew out of a unique synergy between CBBC, the British Film Institute, the UK Film, Council and Creative Partnerships. We are looking to encourage active partnerships with agencies, public bodies and QUANGOS.
